Drawing upon resources provided through the Doing What Matters for Jobs and the Economy program, the publication was produced by the SB 1070 and OC Pathways Career Technical Education (CTE) Pathways program grants, with assistance from the Career Ladders Project. The publication builds on the work of the Doing What Matters Counselors Conference and the leadership of the regional Deputy Sector Navigators (DSNs). This collaboration represents an ambitious effort across the state, and among regional community colleges, K-12 institutions, and business and industry partners to transform career education by strengthening and aligning pathways, and reimagining the role of counselors is critical to supporting students college and career success.
